Capitals in the Heart of Europe in 8 days

Day 1: Arrival – Prague 

Arrival in Prague. Transfer to the city centre, free time for optional lunch, then transfer to the hotel for check-in. Time for relax after the flight or for an individual visit of the city. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Prague.

Day 2: Prague

Full day sightseeing tour in Prague (max. 6 hours). In the morning: transfer with bus to the historical centre. You will see the Prague Castle with gorgeous St. Vitus Cathedral. Across the Charles Bridge you’ ll get to the Old Town quarter with the Astronomical Clock, the Royal Way and other city highlights. Time for lunch in the centre. In the afternoon hours proceeding of the tour and time for optional visit of a temple of your religion. (Or time for shopping at Prague “chic” boutiques) After the sightseeing transfer back to the hotel with bus. Dinner and overnight in Prague.

Day 3: Prague – Bratislava

After the breakfast transfer to Bratislava – the capital of Slovakia. Arrival at the lunch time. Break for lunch and quick check-in. Meet the guide in the early afternoon hours, walking tour through the historical city centre and up to the Bratislava Castle. (After the sightseeing possible to visit one of the local shopping malls (Eurovea, Aupark etc.). Dinner and overnight at hotel in Bratislava.

Day 4: Bratislava - Vienna

From Bratislava it`s just a small step to Vienna. Arrival in the morning hours. Encounter with your local guide, max. 3 hrs visit of the Schoenbrunn palace and its nearest surrounding parks. Check-in to the hotel and free time for individual or optional program.

Optional: transfer and visit to Danube Tower – a TV tower with viewing deck and restaurant; Vienna Zoo (considered the oldest one in the world) or Madame Tussaud`s wax museum. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Vienna.

Day 5: Vienna 

In the morning you will get to know the heart of the “City of Waltz” during a half-day sightseeing tour. Among others you will see (from outside) the Castle Hofburg, State Opera, Charles the Great Church, Burgtheater as well as Town Hall and University. Optional lunch in the city centre. During the afternoon you will have the opportunity to visit the famous fairground Prater or dedicate your time to shopping. Dinner outside of the hotel and overnight at the hotel in Vienna.

Day 6: Vienna – Budapest

After your breakfast your further journey will take you across the Western Hungary. At lunch time you will get to know the Hungarian Capital, which is situated on both banks of the Danube River (in Hungarian - Duna). Time for lunch. During the sightseeing tour you will visit the Castle District, which is upwards of the Danube. There you can see The Fishermen Bastion and the Mathias’s Church. In the district of Pest you can admire the Parliament, National Museum, Opera house, Hero's Square and many other monuments. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel in Budapest.

Day 7: Budapest - Visegrád - Szentendre – Budapest 

Full-day trip to the cultivated landscape of Hungarian lowland. As first tourist site you`ll see historical town of Visegrad with its medieval castle above Danube bends and you`ll be able to enjoy the view to the river and town`s surrounding nature. We proceed to colourful town Szentendre that is known for its museums, galleries and artists. Visit of the historical centre, time for lunch and optional excursion to the open-air museum of folk architecture. On the way back to Budapest hotel you can visit a temple of your religion, prayer break. Dinner and overnight at your hotel.

Day 8: Budapest - departure

After the breakfast you will check-out from the hotel. Time for short sight-seeing (eg. Citadella, Gellért Hill etc.), then time for shopping (eg. in the famous Central Market Hall) or time for individual visit of one of Budapest spas. In the afternoon hours transfer back to the hotel for luggage and transfer to the airport.
